I’m a Product Designer and Strategist with a background in visual communication, New Media Arts, teaching, and complex digital systems.

My background

I hold a Master’s degree in New Media Arts from PJAIT, where my thesis focused on UX design for spatial experiences. That work developed into a broader interest in cognitive psychology, cognitive ergonomics, and how people perceive information, navigate complex environments, and make decisions.

Teaching & Mentoring

I taught UX, HCI, and interface design to more than 300 students at PJAIT. I also co-organised and co-led international workshops with artists and practitioners from around the world, giving students opportunities to work across disciplines and cultural perspectives.

I now mentor designers independently and through Women in Technology, with a focus on product design, career development, and thoughtful uses of AI in UX. I was also mentored by a Principal Designer at Allegro, which deepened my interest in Future Thinking, signal scanning, scenario development, and emerging product opportunities.

How I work

I’m pragmatic, curious, and analytical. I work well in fast-moving environments with multiple projects, stakeholders, and dependencies. I bring structure to ambiguity, untangle complexity, and turn fragmented inputs into clear priorities, decisions, and next steps.

How I approach AI

I take a critical, systems-led approach to AI. I use it where it improves decision-making, removes repetitive work, or strengthens research and delivery, not simply because it is new or widely discussed. It needs to solve a real problem, fit the wider product system, and preserve human judgement where it matters.

I’m also exploring how digital products need to evolve for agentic use, including permissions, visible system states, adaptable interfaces, approval points, and new interaction patterns between people, agents, and tools.

Beyond commercial work

I’m involved in several leading organisations focused on protecting nature, wetlands, and birds. I contribute through strategy, service design, communication, and hands-on work.

In my free time, I take care of my permaculture garden and continue learning about biodiversity, habitat restoration, and more resilient ways of living with the landscape.
